About EHYT
- About EHYT
  EHYT Finnish Association for Substance Abuse Prevention works throughout Finland to promote healthy lifestyles. We work with people of all ages from children and young people to working age people and the elderly. In addition to alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse prevention, our remit also encompasses gaming and gambling. Our aim is to improve well-being across Finnish society.

As the Executive Director of EHYT, the Finnish Association for Substance Abuse Prevention, I am in charge of EHYT’s leadership, content direction and stakeholder cooperation. For the last 18 years, I have worked with health and drug policies in a wide range of organisational and research positions. I have a PhD in Health Policy and Equity, and I am also a social psychologist (Master of Social Sciences). My special fields include the promotion of health and well-being, health inequalities, drug and alcohol policy, cross-sectoral work, international health politics and non-governmental organisations.
